The US OPM's Center for Leadership Development is committed to helping you fulfill your leadership development requirements. That’s why we offer a unique set of certificate and training programs designed to meet your particular needs no matter where you are in your Federal career. LEAD Certificate Program

The Leadership Education and Development (LEAD) Certificate Program focuses on the specific career track training requirements of Federal project/team leaders, supervisors, managers or SES-level executives. Find out how to reach your particular Federal career goals.

State/Regional Leadership Development Programs

The Eastern Management Development Center offers innovative State/Regional Leadership Development programs to provide a year-long leadership development experience at convenient locations. The program is designed to meet the leadership development needs of selected federal professionals at the GS-13-14 level as well as high potential GS-12’s or equivalent and is based on a “whole person” model comprised of four dimensions: intellectual, emotional, physical and behavioral.

Academic Credit

The American Council on Education (ACE) certifies many of our courses for graduate or undergraduate credits. Credit hours vary depending on the length and content of the course but generally range from two to four hours.  Find out how to build your skills and gain college credits.
